Prove how many potholes you’ve fixed or lose cash, councils told
The government is unveiling a funding package of £4.8bn for critical road schemes as the chancellor prepares to make billions of pounds of spending cuts at the spring statement on Wednesday. But councils have also been warned they must provide data on the state of their roads.
