Civil service to axe 10,000 jobs, Chancellor Rachel Reeves says – as she eyes cutting £2bn in costs
Rachel Reeves has told Sky's Sunday Morning With Trevor Phillips that she is "confident" the civil service can be reduced by 10,000 people. The FDA union says the government needs to be honest about the move and the "impact it will have on public services".
