Chelsea are back in action just three days after facing Copenhagen in the first leg of the UEFA Conference League round of 16. The Blues will host Leicester City at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon as they both look to climb the Premier League table.
The West Londoners enjoyed a 4-0 victory against Southampton at the weekend as they returned to winning ways in the English top flight. While Chelsea climbed to fifth, Leicester City remained in the bottom three after losing 2-0 to West Ham.
Enzo Maresca will fancy his chances, but Ruud van Nistelrooy has had the entire week to rally his troops. So, with that being said, football.london has looked at Chelsea’s upcoming fixtures and how they compare to their rivals.
Leicester City (H) – Premier League – Sunday, March 9
Shortly after locking horns with Copenhagen in the Conference League, Chelsea are back in action. The Blues won't have long to get back to Cobham and prepare for the clash, so the Foxes will be looking to leap out of the gates.
Copenhagen (H) – Conference League – Thursday, March 13
Chelsea will be delighted that second leg of the Conference League round of 16 is on home turf. Maresca will hope the home faithful can get behind his side, who have their eyes fixed on silverware.
Arsenal (A) – Premier League – Sunday, March 16
Chelsea will need to be at their very best when they face Arsenal. Mikel Arteta doesn't have a senior striker at his disposal, but he's built a well-oiled machine that is capable of dismantling any side.
Tottenham Hotspur (H) – Premier League – Thursday, April 3
Another tough clash for Chelsea. The Blues defeated Tottenham Hotspur on the road back in December, waltzing away 4-3 victorious. A similar result would be huge in the race for Champions League qualification.
Brentford (A) – Premier League – Sunday, April 6
Three successive London derbies. Ouch. Brentford may not have as much firepower as Arsenal or Tottenham, but Thomas Frank has players who are capable of stunning the big hitters.
