With only a handful of games left in the season, the rumour mill for next season is already churning. The latest speculation comes after the proposed 2025/26 Chelsea home shirt was leaked online.
Photos of the alleged new shirt have been doing the rounds, igniting a wave of both positive and negative debate among the Stamford Bridge faithful. While the official confirmation from both Nike and the club is still months away, the design could still give a solid preview of what to expect the Blues to line up in next year.
The leaked kit doesn't offer any drastic changes on a classic Chelsea look, but Nike seems to have stuck with their bold patterns on top of the classic blue – that has divided fans on many of the club’s recent kits. Gone are this year’s electric waves that annoyed many fans; instead, Nike appears to have lightened the blue and added a faint geometric design, although it’s not yet clear what the shapes are supposed to represent.

One of the most prominent features from the leak is the introduction of white and red accents down the side seam of the kit. Similar to the trim seen on this year's strip, the new shirt has taken the red and white up a notch for some more vibrant tones reminiscent of the colours worn during some of the club's most successful periods.
Despite many clubs favouring retro or classic designs, Chelsea is looking like they'll be keeping a modern look with a sleek, rounded collar, still avoiding the 90s-esc collar found on many Adidas kits.
The front of the kit also remains blank and without a sponsor, although a mock-up has been made by a fan with the inclusion of the Riyadh Air logo and the Qatar Airways branding, with the two airlines thought to be the most interested in making a deal.
Although much of this could be speculation, the kit is guaranteed to beNike once again after the club broke records when it made a deal in 2016 worth £900 million over 15 years – the largest commercial deal in the club’s history.
The leak has made anticipation for the kit launch now higher than ever, with fans eager to see the final design and how it would translate on the pitch. However, anyone looking to make a purchase may have a few months to wait, as mostPremier League clubs tend to reveal their home shirts first just after the season ends in the summer but before the new season kicks off in August.
